Learning
Although Newrite represents English, learning it might be like learning a foreign language. If you’ve ever studied Greek, Arabic, or Russian, you probably didn’t have any prior knowledge of the language’s unusual letters or signs. Similarly, Newrite has its own symbols, vowels, spelling, and pronunciation rules.
Just as a student of Spanish will most easily achieve fluency by traveling to a Spanish-speaking country and becoming immersed in the language and culture, your proficiency in Newrite will come primarily from using it as often as you can in your everyday life. We encourage you to incorporate it into your writing as quickly as possible.
One of the easiest wasy to begin is by adding the short forms into your casual writing, such as to-do or shopping lists. Shortform flash cards are available for download to help you get started. If you don’t already have one, you might want to start a diary. Your enjoyment of Newrite will increase dramatically as you start to experience its benefits for yourself.
Learning Newrite requires dedication and practice, just like any skill worth acquiring. It took many years for each of us to learn the Roman alphabet and the spelling rules of English. It won’t take years to learn Newrite, but it will take some hard work and practice.
